Betsie graduated with a BSc degree in physiotherapy in the Philippines in 2017. In the UK, she holds a physiotherapist registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is also a CPAM-licensed physiotherapist.
Betsie spent over four years working in community-based rehabilitation immediately following her graduation. She has experience in diverse areas such as in managing musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, cardiopulmonary conditions, and also holds particular interest in geriatric rehabilitation and community home visits. She strongly believes that by treating patients in their own residences, one can gain a profound comprehension of their personal environments and the obstacles they encounter throughout the rehabilitation process. In community physiotherapy, she has consistently endeavored to enhance health and well-being by advocating for preventive measures and overall physical wellness through the provision of a collaborative professional service in patient residences and their place of care as a member of an experienced team.
Betsie has since transitioned into private practice, specializing in managing neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. There, she offers state-of-the-art evidence-based treatments, personalized treatment plans, manual therapy techniques, and a variety of soft tissue mobilization techniques.
Her interpersonal skills and empathetic nature are pivotal in building rapport and fostering excellent therapeutic relationships. She has a genuine passion for helping her patients achieve their personal goals and function at their full potential.
Betsie consistently seeks out opportunities to further expand her knowledge. This is evident in her commitment to ongoing education and participating in a multitude of recent physiotherapy-related courses in order to stay up-to-date with modern evidence-based international practice.
Betsie’s hobbies during her free time include nature excursions, listening to music, and organizing items, all of which give her a sense of satisfaction and tranquility.
